End Of My Youth: Turning 30
Best Wife In The World!

Yesterday I was a mess. I was up with Connor from 4:00 AM on and went right to work. I was absolutely the most tired I have ever been in my life. Bridget was quick to notice this and told me that her plan was for me to eat dinner, relax with Connor for a little bit, then go to bed. I was in bed at 10:30 PM and she took care of Connor all night. It was amazing! I got a full 7 plus hours of sleep! I am so thankful!

Today was a good day for Connor. Bridget and aunt Erin took care of him today. Uncle Chris (my best friend) came over tonight and got to meet Connor. It was awesome. I haven’t seen Chris for a couple of months since he lives near DC, so we spent a good 5 hours just talking, eating pizza, drinking beer, playing with Connor. It was great. I really miss our times chilling together late at night at Dunkin Donuts when we were in high school and later on breaks in college. Always a great time when Poda is around.

Tomorrow is Connor’s first Christmas Eve, which is a big deal in Italian families! I don’t do all 7 fishes any more, just my two favorite scungilli and baccala. Tomorrow I am picking them up on the way home from work. Thankfully it is only a half day, so I will be able to eat them for lunch and dinner! Also tomorrow, I am picking up Aunt Casey and Uncle Rob at the hotel that Grandpa works at. They flew in from California for Christmas and can’t wait to finally meet their little (well not really so little any more) nephew! It’s going to be a great holiday!!!
